Brooke Sweeney is a New York based actor, teaching artist, and vocalist.
Brooke seeks to create fun, transformative, and accessible experiences both in the theatre and in the classroom. Her work as a performer and teaching artist is, at its core, about joy! She loves to use collaborative and participatory theatre-making to foster a sense of play, community, and collective resilience.
Brooke is currently a graduate student at Columbia pursuing a career at the intersection of the arts and social work. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Harvard College. Beyond Harvard, Brooke is also a proud alumna of other programs including The Second City and Atlantic Acting School.
In her spare time, Brooke enjoys endlessly rewatching "The Office," snowboarding, writing music, and buying lots of aesthetically pleasing journals/stationary that she intends to use but never does.
